What are your first impressions of Kettle Run?

Kettle Run is a lot busier than I expected.

What is something students would be surprised to know about you?

I attended Kettle Run as a student in 2008-2010.

Where were you before Kettle Run?

Aerojet Rocketdyne – rocket scientist J.

Osbourn High – chemistry, biology, ecology teacher.

What are your first impressions of Kettle Run?

Everyone is so friendly and helpful, students are great!

What is something students would be surprised to know about you?

I was a Lance Missile Crewman in the US Army – that’s how I paid for college.

FHS graduate.

Where were you before Kettle Run?

I worked as a Therapeutic Day Treatment counselor in Culpeper County schools.

What are your first impressions of Kettle Run?

KRHS is a very friendly community, with admin, teachers, and other staff who truly care about the students.

What is something students would be surprised to know about you?

Most students are very surprised to hear that I have 5-year old boy/girl twins!

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I love what I do and wholeheartedly feel helping others is my purpose in life.

Returned to Kettle Run. (Prior Schools: Rancho Bernardo HS – San Diego; Freedom & Heritage – Loudoun; Peabody VMHS – Peabody, MA)

What are your first impressions of Kettle Run?

Best place to teach! Same as before, which is why I returned.

What is something students would be surprised to know about you?

I hate almost all fruit and love vegetables.

Every single staff member that I have met is friendly and extremely helpful.

What is something students would be surprised to know about you?

I don’t know—There are so many things because I am so fascinating LOL.

I LOVE the kids here!

Where were you before Kettle Run?

Last year I taught at LHS, and before that I lived in Colorado teaching choir for five years.

What are your first impressions of Kettle Run?

I am already in love with Kettle Run! The students have been so welcoming, and the staff is stellar. Everyone seems so happy to be here.

What is something students would be surprised to know about you?

Students may be surprised to know that I live almost an hour away from school. But I am willing to make the drive to work with great people!

I worked as a farm consultant before coming to Kettle Run.

Kettle Run is a great place to work. Everyone here is awesome to work with and the students are making my classes fun.

I played baseball in college.
